A counterweight is not needed with the PT4900 since the weight can be shifted anywhere along the teleprompter base. Since a counterweight is not needed, you will not be adding additional weight to the tripod head.Large Range of Camera CompatibilityOur professional line teleprompters not only include three different camera mount bases, but also a bottom plate to perfectly balance any type of camera. The bottom plate allows you to mount your tripod plate anywhere along the bottom of the teleprompter.
