When you need a ceiling-mounted speaker capable of high output, look no further than QSC’s AD-C820R. This ceiling speaker system is specifically designed for music playback, public address, and distributed audio.
Maintain an accurate frequency response even in 70/100V applications with the speaker’s low-loss, low-saturation transformer. The AD-C820R measures 91dB sensitivity (1W/1m). It produces 114 dB SPL (1W/1m) output at full power.
The AD-C820R 8-Inch Ceiling Speaker System comes with an AD-C800BB acoustically optimized enclosure as well as a round or square grille, a c-ring, and a set of tile rails. The speaker assembly includes the co-entrant transducers, a 70V/100V transformer, and a crossover mounted on an ABS baffle. The speaker’s 8" woofer is equipped with a treated paper cone on a steel frame. It achieves 52 Hz via its optimized enclosure. The system achieves 90-degree axisymmetric coverage, and its high-current, low-tolerance network components provide smooth full-range, passive performance.
The AD-C820R comes with a “dog-ear” mounting system. Its conduit cover plate can be removed to access its locking 4-pole Euro-block connector; this connector accepts up to four 18AWG pairs, eliminating the hassles of star topology wiring designs.
