Distributed Design Series Surface Mount 8" Full-Range Speaker

Community expands the Distributed Design Series with low profile, compact, surface mount loudspeakers that offer the same great musical sound quality and excellent intelligibility as the flagship ceiling systems. Utilizing identical components as in the ceiling loudspeakers, the new DS5, DS8 and DS8SUB surface mount systems feature similar voicing and performance, creating a comprehensive loudspeaker family. The 5-inch DS5 and 8-inch DS8 are full-range two-way systems, ideal for installations where a compact enclosure is required. Easily outperforming loudspeakers of a larger size format, the DS5 and DS8 provide high power handling, high sensitivity and realistic sound reproduction, while the 8-inch DS8SUB subwoofer complements these full-range models with extended low frequency performance for musical applications. The DS5, DS8 and DS8SUB can be used in a wide variety of speech and music applications including swimming pools, sports stadiums and facilities, health and fitness clubs, houses of worship, retail environments, cruise ships, educational facilities, corporate A/V, bars and restaurants.
